Kate is Head of Office Operations for Lowercarbon Capital. She pulls off the impossible on a daily basis, keeping the proverbial trains running on time for both day-to-day tasks and big-picture company initiatives alike.
Before joining Lowercarbon, Kate worked as a television producer and creative executive, managing large-scale productions for shows such as Shark Tank, Guy’s Grocery Games, and House Hunters, to name a few. Her experience in entertainment, developing and executing projects with a whirlwind of moving parts, helps her tackle fast-moving operational challenges such as producing the firm’s many corporate events with creativity, attention to detail, and Zen-like unflappability.
Kate is a classically trained operatic soprano and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and Humanities from USC. She continued her vocal studies at the Verdi Conservatory of Music in Milan, where she apprenticed with Patrizia Zanardi from La Scala, and has performed on such iconic stages as Dolby Theater, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
When she’s not holding down the operational fort, Kate spends her time teaching voice lessons to budding vocalists, reading, singing, enjoying time with friends, listening to political podcasts, and exploring ways to make a real difference in the world.
